28th Congress of the Czechoslovak Society for Microbiology with international participation

Dear colleagues and friends of microbiology!

It is a great pleasure on behalf of the Committee of the Czechoslovak Society for Microbiology to invite you to the 28th Congress of the Czechoslovak Society for Microbiology with international participation. The congress will be held in Tatranské Matliare, High Tatras, Slovak Republic on September 18–21, 2019.

The aim of this scientific meeting is to bring together the senior researchers and young microbiologists as well as experts in the related fields from praxis to discuss various aspects of medical, environmental or technical microbiology including bacteria, fungi, viruses, algae or protozoa. The main mission of the Congress is to share knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen cooperation. There will be a platform for new ideas and visions, and for unformal discussions in the general topics such as, microbiology of food, water and environment, biotechnology, but also in the more specialized fields covering veterinary and medical microbiology resistance to antimicrobial agents, taxonomy and biodiversity, mycology, and virology. Some issues of current research should be open in the sections focused on microbial biofilms and molecular microbiology.

This scientific event will be organized in pleasant surroundings of the National park High Tatras that we hope, will provide you relaxing and inspiring atmosphere in one. We believe that you will enjoy a traditional Slovak hospitality.
