5th Eurasia Congress of Infectious Diseases (EACID)

It is our great pleasure and honor to announce that our new place for Eurasia Congress of Infectious Diseases (EACID) is Tirana, Albania. It has been scheduled between May 15th and 18th, 2013, in Tirana International Hotel. The congress is organized by the Blacksea Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (BSCMID) and the Albanian Partners which are Tirana University Hospital, Albanian Society of Infectious Disease, and Albanian Microbiology Society.
The Congress focuses on trends in infectious diseases besides new events in diagnosis and treatments of them. The scientists from all around the world will discuss these issues in light of current information for three days.
The Blacksea Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (BSCMID) started scientific collaboration among Balkan Countries in order to improve international collaboration on scientific research and combating infectious diseases. As known, the EACID started as an international scientific meeting in Central Asia, aiming to introduce local researchers to foreigner attendants from other parts of the world. More than six years ago, the First International Congress of Central Asia Infectious Diseases (ICCAID) was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 2006. The second congress was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2008, the third in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2009 and the fourth in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2011. All of these congresses were very successful events in terms of the collaboration and exchange of experience and expertise among scientists from different nationalities. Organizing this event, we are hoping to make a high-level scientific congress with more participation from around the world.

Priručnik za vježbe iz opće mikrobiologije
Ovaj sveučilišni priručnik napisalo je petnaestak autora iz desetak visokoškolskih ustanova iz Zagreba i Rijeke, a sadržaj je podijeljen u petnaest, slikama bogato ilustriranih poglavlja u kojima su opisane i obrađene različite bakteriološke, virološke, mikološke, imunološke i molekularno-biološke metode koje se upotrebljavaju u općoj mikrobiologiji koja se studira na nizu različitih fakulteta i visokih škola.
Veterinarska imunologija
Radi se o vrhunskoj literaturi za potrebe visokoškolske nastave iz veterinarske imunologije. Knjiga je svojim sadržajem namijenjena prvenstveno studentima, ali i veterinarima u praksi i nastavnicima.
