Pozivnica – Medical Mycology: From Basic Science to Clinical Needs, Wien, 2011

Dear colleagues, 

on behalf of the Austrian Society of the Medical Mycology (ÖGMM), we cordially invite you to participate in the 2nd Joint Workshop of ÖGMM, ÖGACH, ÖGIT and ÖGHMP entitled “Medical Mycology: From Basic Science to Clinical Needs”, which will be held in Vienna, Austria, from December 8-10, 2011 at the Campus Vienna Biocenter. This meeting will be jointly organised by the Austrian Society of Medical Mycology (ÖGMM), with the Austrian Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ÖGACH), the Austrian Society for Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine (ÖGIT) and the Austrian Society for Hygiene, Microbiology & Preventive Medicine (ÖGHMP) 

Medical mycology has developed enormously and thus has been raising great interest among scientists, physicians, drug companies, as well as others being involved in infectious diseases for its inherent clinical implications and needs. Based on the successful first meeting in 2009, this meeting will cover all important areas in the field, giving you the possibility to meet scientists, physicians and health care professionals from our neighbouring countries. The meeting will also provide opportunities for networking and facilitate and stimulate collaborative research.
