Symposium Invitation

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the symposium “Power of Fungi and Mycotoxins in Health and Disease”, which will be held in Primošten, Croatia from 19 to 22, October 2011.

The symposium will cover current topics in mycology and mycotoxicology with the aim to bring together scientists from many different disciplines, including applied and clinical mycology and mycotoxicology.

Primošten is an attractive tourist city at the Adriatic coast situated between Split and Šibenik which is easily accessed by airplane (35 km from Split Airport) and/or by bus. This “pearl” of Adriatic coast with picturesque landscapes, vineyards protected by UNESCO and people’s hospitality make excellent place for exchanging ideas and promoting scientific contacts among mycologists and mycotoxicologists from Europe and broader.

The organisation of the symposium is supported by FEMS enabling grants for young scientists and invited speakers. All necessary details will be announced on the symposium web-site.
