Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my privilege and honour to invite you to the 1st ISM Conference 2009 to be held in Tulln, Austria, September 9-11, 2009 (see attachment).

The ISM 2009 is a conference of the International Society for Mycotoxicology with the aim to facilitate a Global Discussion on the Worldwide Mycotoxin Reduction in Food and Feed Chains between scientists, opinion leaders, decision-makers and industry in the specific research area of mycotoxin reduction.

The discussion forum will take place in a unique setting in Tulln (35 km from Vienna) -Austria with excellent conference facilities near the IFA-Tulln.
Innovative (bio-)technological solutions for the reduction of the most relevant mycotoxins that concern agrofood producers and consumers will be discussed in four scientific sessions:

1. Pre-harvest mycotoxin reduction
2. Post-harvest mycotoxin reduction
3. Bioavailability and detoxification of mycotoxins 4. Advanced technologies to reduce and detect toxigenic fungi and mycotoxins

Come and join us to obtain information about the latest developments in mycotoxin reduction at this international gathering of eminent professionals.
